Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

What You Will Do:
- Assist with emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
- Assist in diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Maintain a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when the next service is due.
- Work safely and recognize unsafe situations. Take appropriate action to ensure the safety of yourself and others in the building.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days depend on business needs.
- After successful training, you will be required to work an evening shift.
- Monday - Friday.
- 8 HR Shift.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1 or more years of relevant manufacturing maintenance experience; hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC.
- Experience doing maintenance in a similar type of environment (mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance).
You will be working with a team. The ability to communicate and get along with others will make you successful in this position. You should be able to read and follow written and verbal directions. This is a very active position and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. You will frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
