About Us: Dobe's Auto Repair is a well-established auto repair shop located in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, servicing a diverse range of vehicles and providing top-notch technical expertise to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Perform major repairs and maintenance services, including engine repairs, transmission work, brake replacements, suspension repairs, etc.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a focus on diagnostics and major repairs.
  • Proficiency in servicing European car brands is great to have, but not required.
  • Expertise in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex automotive issues.
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems, components, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • ASE certification or relevant technical training preferred.
