We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled SMT/PCBA Production Manager to oversee and optimize our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) operations. This is a critical role within our manufacturing team, ensuring the seamless execution of production processes while maintaining our high standards for quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:Production Management:
  • Planned, coordinated, and oversaw all SMT/PCBA production activities to meet delivery schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor production KPIs and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Manage and optimize production workflows, minimizing downtime and waste.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and supply chain.
  • Address and resolve production issues in a timely manner to maintain smooth operations.
Equipment Maintenance:
  • Ensure all SMT/PCBA equipment is maintained and operating efficiently.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate with suppliers for repairs or upgrades.
Quality Assurance:
  • Work closely with the quality team to implement and maintain quality control processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for any defects and implement corrective actions.
Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including reports on yield, rework, and production output.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in SMT/PCBA production management.
  • Strong understanding of SMT processes, PCB assembly, and soldering techniques.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting SMT equipment (e.g., pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
