Child Care Associate

Great part-time opportunities for nurturing, caring, positive individuals who love working with infants and toddlers as part of a positive and supportive team. The primary responsibility is to keep the children happy, busy, and safe in a nurturing, Christian environment. 

Shifts available: Monday - Thursday / 2 pm - 6 pm, possibility of additional Fridays

Duties:
  • Assist in planning and supervising activities that promote the social, mental, physical, emotional and educational development of the children.
  • Maintain and monitor children to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Feeding and providing age-appropriate rest-times
  • Keeping records of each child’s progress, interests, and development.
  • Maintaining contact with the children’s parents/guardians
  • Ensuring the children have good hygiene and changing diapers.
  • Clean the childcare room to maintain a safe, orderly, and sanitary environment.
  • Reports to the child care director.

Essential Skills:
  • Good oral and written communication.
  • Problem-Solving.
  • Working With Others.
  • A caring and compassionate attitude is a must.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Child care experience preferred.
  • Must possess valid CPR and First Aid certifications or be willing to possess.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
