Position Description Summary:

We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our customers. Ideally, someone with experience in fine dining and with high volume banquet service. The bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend drink items, and prepare and serve beverages. To succeed as a bartender, you should have an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.

Directly reports to Head Bartender.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The regular duties include but are not limited to making alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Bartender is responsible for stocking and restocking bar each shift. Bartender will need to make some syrups and other house-made cocktail ingredients. The bartender’s main responsibility is stay behind the bar in order to promptly provide cocktail service for members and co-workers in a friendly and courteous manner. Holidays, weekends and some nights required as business dictates.
  • Stocking & stock rotation of juices, beer and wine coolers.
  • Syrup and juice production.
  • Maintaining a clean working area.
  • Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
  • Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
  • Accurate production of all house cocktail recipes.
  • Provide all Main Dining room bar needs.
  • Follow all statutory and/or Group Health and Safety requirements, including food hygiene regulations.
  • Assist the Head Bartender with crafting new cocktail recipes.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to carry trays of food.
  • Standing on feet for up to 8 hours.
  • Continuous repetitive motions.
  • Work in hot, humid, and noisy environment.
  • Fine dining experience preferred (not required).

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Kitchen and/or serving experience, preferably in a professional member-servicing environment.
  • Fine dining experience.

Pay Rate: $19 - $20 per hour DOE + 4% 2025 Increase (Non-Tipped Position).
Licenses and Special Requirements:
  • TB test clearance & Yellow Bartenders Liquor card from C&C Of Honolulu Liquor Commission.
