Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized Director of Central Supply to oversee the management of our supply and inventory functions. The Director will be responsible for ensuring that the nursing home is adequately stocked with medical supplies, equipment, and other essential items. This position is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting the overall mission of the nursing home.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Inventory Management: Oversee the storage and distribution of all medical supplies, equipment, and general nursing supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and timely availability.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all supplies meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Stay updated with industry regulations and healthcare policies.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the central supply area, ensuring it is well-organized and adheres to safety standards.
  • Laundry Management: Oversee the labeling, washing, and proper handling of laundry for residents, ensuring all items are cleaned and sorted according to facility guidelines.
  • Data Management: Track inventory levels and usage trends, providing insights on supply needs to other departments.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs as necessary for efficient supply handling.
