RESPONSIBILITIES:

Howmet Aerospace, is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. 
Position Overview: We seek a skilled and dedicated Tool and Die Maker to join our team Howmet. This Tool and Die Maker position will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems. This off-shift Tool and Die Maker will encompass various responsibilities which include, but not limited to: the construction and repair of wax injection molds, manufacturing fixtures, and inspection gauges.  Experience using both aluminum and steel materials, with all general tool room equipment, including CNC mills is preferred.  Position will be on an off shift. We are looking for a self-motivated and technically proficient individual committed to providing high-quality work and promoting a positive image of our company. 
Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the construction of several products concurrently.
• Interpret design blueprints to determine die / mold making plan.
• Perform operations within very close tolerances.
• Ability to inspect own work.
• Ability to work with Engineering and Programming throughout the manufacturing process
• Able to operate multiple machinery; (Bridge Port, Grinders, Saws, EDM).
• Comply with Corporate EHS, Quality and HR rules and standards
• Construction and repair of wax injection molds, manufacturing fixtures, and inspection gauges 
• Working with aluminum, steel materials, general tool room equipment and CNC Mills.
• Troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics. 
• Must be a team player with willingness to learn and perform in other areas as assigned by management.
• Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.

 QUALIFICATIONS

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Possess a minimum of ONE of the following.
• Possess a minimum of eight (8) years of documented Tool & Die Maker / Moldmaker experience. 
• Have served a Bonafide apprenticeship program and possess a certificate which substantiates completion. 
• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker. 
• Journeyman Mold Maker.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
