We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Rheumatologist to join our healthcare team in Jamaica, NY. As a Rheumatologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatic diseases, including arthritis and autoimmune disorders. The ideal candidate should be board-certified in Rheumatology, possess strong clinical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate patient care. - Diagnose and treat patients with a variety of rheumatic conditions, including arthritis, lupus, and other autoimmune disorders.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, considering the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in Rheumatology through continuous medical education and research.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification: Board certification in Rheumatology is essential.
- State Licensure: Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New York.
- Clinical Experience: Relevant clinical experience in Rheumatology, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosis and treatment.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
