Summary:  We are searching for an Ultrasound Technician to perform echocardiographic exams, diagnostic screening of all arterial and venous, upper, and lower extremities, and diagnostic screening of thyroid, aorta, and renal exams.  Our ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment; must have computer skills, excellent communication, and detail skills, as well as the ability to be positive, self-directed and independent. 

Locations: 1106 Clayton Ln, Austin, TX 78723 Schedule: Monday thru Friday; as early as 7:30a and as late as 6:00p.
Essential Functions:
  • Perform patient screenings, including diagnostic testing.
    • Carotid plaque and intima-media thickness.
    • Thyroid ultrasound.
    • Aortic aneurysm screening.
    • Kidney ultrasound.
    • Echocardiogram.
  • Submission of high-quality images and documents.
  • Enter and maintain accurate electronic patient records.
  • Ensure patient rooms are clean, sterilized, safe, and organized with adequate supplies and well-functioning equipment.
  • Communicate with patients, helping each understand the screening process.
  • Deliver compassionate patient care and customer satisfaction.

Experience & Training Requirement:
  • 2+ years' experience.
  • Must be willing to train on Echocardiography.
