Full Job Description:Tiny house builder for Hekipia America Inc.

Purpose of the Position:
  • To assist a company improve their accommodations before the 2024 season.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks/Duties:
  • Install new canvas and woodstove.
  • Remove canvas using ladders and ropes.
  • Install new canvas with ladders and ropes.
  • Fasten railings.
  • Build chimney and place woodstove.
  • Follow plans and head of workshop instructions.
  • Being motivated to learn our building processes.
Qualifications and skills needed:
  • You don't need any particular qualifications, just motivation, and be aware that this is a very manual job
  • Confident with tools use (circular saw, drills, screw driver, compressed-air tools, …)
  • Being comfortable doing a manual job whole day.
  • Handling heavy material with other workers.
  • Understand plans and follow the rules.
  • Report problems or concerns to the manager.
  • Notions of electricity, would be a plus.
  • Forklift certification would be a plus.

Job Details:
  • Pay Rate:$30.00 per hour.
  • Hour Requirements or Preference: 40 hours a week, non-exempt.
  • Schedule: 8am-12pm / 12:30pm-4:30pm from Monday to Friday. Starting April 1st 2024.
