Foreman Electrician

Job Overview:The Foreman Electrician is responsible for the overall day to day supervision of the field labor crews so as to ensure that daily work assignments are completed in accordance with overall schedule, with the quality standards of the company, and is able to meet or surpass the objectives and goals of each specific project. The Foreman Electrician must be able to effectively manage any project that is presented, from small projects to multi-million dollar projects. The Foreman Electrician must be able to communicate the material requirements for the project, organize timely deliveries, maintain material budgets with support from Project Manager and be able to manage various crew sizes up to 8-10. The ability to effectively communications with the PM, crew, customers, and general contractors is required. The Foreman Electrician must be able to resolve issues encountered during the projects with minimal support from the Project Manager as well as possess the ability to drive a project through the various stages to maintain the budgeted labor hours. The position of Foreman Electrician requires physically working as a member of the field crew. In addition to working with the field crew, the Foreman Electrician is required to perform elements listed below as assigned by the PM and/or Vice President of Operations :
- Planning.
- Documentation.
- Site Supervision.
- Material & Equipment Management.
Summary of Responsibilities and Duties:
- Participate in pre and post construction meetings and planning sessions.
- Understand the scope of work and roles for each crew member.
- Facilitate Daily Tool Box meeting and training.
- Consider security and safety conditions for each project.
- Ensure the work is progressing on schedule.
- Complete daily reports.
- Coordinate with other trades on project.
- Ensure material needed is ordered and received correctly.
- Ensure all tools and material are kept in secure and safe manner.

Required:
- Skilled at working on commercial and industrial projects.
- OSHA 10.
- Valid driver license.
- Journeyman license RI required, MA & CT a plus.
