- Master's Degree, certification and licensure.
- Must be Board Certified
- Experience in providing behavior services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities and other Behavior Disorders.
- Experience in educational environment or setting.
- Experience working with families for family training, home visits and/or supervision of home programs.
- Experience with the IEP process, IEP development and implementation preferred.
- Experience intervening in severe behavioral crisis to include Non -Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention.
- Provide direct support and consultation to classroom teams on behavior reduction, classroom management as part of a Behavior Intervention Plan.
- Complete Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans, as needed.
- Provide initial and ongoing training to staff on principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Provide family support and consultation through home visits and/or school conferences.
- Provide modeling, support and clear expectations in crisis intervention.
- Participate as a member of IEP and IFSP team meetings for targeted students.
- Serve as a resource to the Director of Special Education, Supervisors of Special Education, and other staff as appropriate.
- Respond effectively to parent, school staff and administrator concerns.
- Provision and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).
- Other duties as required by the school administration.
