Join Our Team as a Line CookAt St. Barnabas Health System, we are seeking skilled Line Cooks to join our team. You will play a crucial role in preparing and serving delicious, nutritious meals to our residents. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook specific meals as directed by the dietitian.
- Perform prep assignments and restock items to prepare for the next meal.
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment after each meal.
- Follow the posted schedule for cleaning major equipment, work areas, and storage areas.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Experience in food preparation.
- Knowledgeable in the food industry, including quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, safety, and presentation.
