Requirements:

Responsibilities:
  • Under the direction of the CEO/CNE or designee, the CNA will provide services within the CNA scope, following the facilities' policies and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to:Assisting patients with daily living and providing nursing care.
  • Performing and documenting rounds of patients receiving medical or psychiatric care.
  • Reporting changes in patients' conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.
  • Assisting other non-custody staff in providing patient care.
  • Preparing documentation for patient transfers to other facilities or special appointments.
  • Completing required documentation of patient care.
  • Cleaning, maintaining, and checking equipment.
  • Managing inventory, ordering, and checking supplies.
