- Ave. Worked Callback Hours: 2 hrs
- Patient Volume: Varies
- Support Staff: Nurses, OR staff (as needed)
- Duties:
- Will cover any inpatients that have not been discharged
- Cover ER, IP, and any practice issues that need to be addressed on the days the locum is on service, go to OR for trauma/gen surg cases.
- Basic call
- Trauma Level: III
- EMR: Epic
- Other Info: Need to backfill for locum who needs to take 6 month break.
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
- Active CO License/IMLC
- BC/BE (Gen Surgery; If BE: 0-5 yrs post-residency completion)
- Residency/Fellowship in General Surgery
- ATLS, BLS
- Active DEA (must keep the DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked)
- Clean record
- Local candidates (preferred)
