Farm Operator

About the Job

Qualified candidates should have a basic understanding and ability to perform general labor activates. These activities include but are not limited to; standing for long periods of time, lifting of 50lbs, occasional operation of farm vehicles, squatting and standing and working outside in the elements
Candidates must be comfortable working in an environment that has barley dust on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities:

• This position will assist with a variety of tasks, such as loading and unloading trucks, operating equipment, moving equipment, general cleaning and other labor tasks. This position requires individuals to take direction well and work independently while maintaining a safe work environment for themselves and others. Other general labor tasks will be assigned as required.
• Farm operator- includes machinery operation of agricultural tractors with various implements attached used for but not limited to cultivation, irrigation, planting, and some harvesting of primarily small grain crops. Common hand tools for mechanics, repairs of implements and tractors, and various gardening equipment. Work on and with grain bin storages that include augers, sweeps, and bucket elevator. Brooms, shovels, rakes, lawn equipment as well.

• Experience with the machinery is not required.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 2pm-10pm
