Financial Management Support Coordinator (Bilingual - Spanish)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Management Service (FMS) Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and possess a thorough understanding of California's Self Determination Program (SDP). This role is critical in assisting individuals and families in managing their fiscal responsibilities and ensuring compliance with state regulations. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to clients and families participating in the Self Determination Program. 
  • Assist clients in budgeting, financial planning, and expense tracking. 
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to the Self Determination Program. 
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of client financial records. 
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation. 
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality services. 
  • Offer bilingual support and communication to Spanish-speaking clients. 
  • Educate clients on fiscal management practices and resources available. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Social Work, or a related field. 
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken). 
  • Knowledge and experience with California’s Self Determination Program. 
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
