Duties/Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Control:
  • Monitor and evaluate product or service quality throughout the production or service delivery process.
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to identify deviations from quality standards and initiate corrective actions.
  • Acts as plant representative for QMS/IATF 16949/ISO 9001 audit process.

Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to the industry.
  • Ensure that products or services comply with regulatory requirements and obtain necessary certifications or approvals.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze quality data to track performance metrics and trends.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Promote a culture of quality excellence and provide training and support to employees on quality-related matters.

Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • QMS/IATF 16949/ISO 9001 experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate audits, inspections, or project deadlines.
