Quality Engineer

Quality Assurance and Control:
- Monitor and evaluate product or service quality throughout the production or service delivery process.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to identify deviations from quality standards and initiate corrective actions.
- Acts as plant representative for QMS/IATF 16949/ISO 9001 audit process.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to the industry.
- Ensure that products or services comply with regulatory requirements and obtain necessary certifications or approvals.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze quality data to track performance metrics and trends.
- Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Continuous Improvement:
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote a culture of quality excellence and provide training and support to employees on quality-related matters.
Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- QMS/IATF 16949/ISO 9001 experience, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- May require occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate audits, inspections, or project deadlines.
