Quality Test Technician

As a Quality Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing and sampling products to ensure they meet specifications and standards. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and management to identify and resolve any quality issues, ensuring our products consistently deliver exceptional performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and sample products to ensure conformity to specifications and standards.
- Identify and report product and quality issues, collaborating with production teams to resolve them effectively.
- Utilize automated test equipment to test cables/harnesses, conducting minor troubleshooting as needed.
- Construct, calibrate, and service test equipment to ensure accurate testing and documentation of results.
- Program, test, and characterize RF data to ensure accurate test results.
- Execute test plans, troubleshoot RF circuitry, and evaluate the performance and reliability of assemblies.
- Oversee the calibration of all manufacturing tools.
Essential Job Duties:
- Follow documented procedures to maintain quality standards.
- Test commercial and complex electronic assemblies, adhering to pre-production or prototype documentation.
- Conduct functional tests to measure the performance of electronic systems, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
- Regularly maintain the calibration of tools and testing equipment.
- Document and evaluate test results, reporting any issues and offering recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers to drive QA efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management.
- Proficiency in electrical test methodology and equipment, including Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Automated Test Systems.
- Familiarity with result validation criteria such as tolerances, control limits, and pass/fail criteria.
- Experience with software tools like NETS/EASYWIRE.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Technical proficiency in troubleshooting and RF test equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Spectrum Analyzers, and RF generators.
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
