Certified Interpreter $24.00 - $27.88 Community Health of Central Washington (CHCW) is committed to attract and retain a diverse staff. Together, with our community, we strive to create and maintain working and learning environments that are inclusive, equitable and welcoming. CHCW is seeking 2 part-time Certified Interpreters to become members of our Language Instruction and Dedicated Education of Residents for the Latinx Community (LIDERES-LC) through the Central Washington Family Medicine Residency Program. You will work on-site during resident clinical encounters for patients with Spanish as their preferred language to support residents who have intermediate-level Spanish skills. You will interpret for the providers and/or the patients as needed. You will have the opportunity to work on other translation projects for the organization and residency when not working alongside residents in the clinic.  Qualifications: 
  • HS Diploma/GED is required
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is required
  • Valid Driver’s license and auto insurance is required
  • A certified Interpreter is required
  • Formal teaching experience in Spanish and/or in English as a second language (ESL) is strongly desired
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required
