Columbus Optical is seeking a full time Optometrist for our growing practice. 

Candidate can enter as a W9 contract partner or as a W2 employee, this is negotiable. Healthcare benefits are negotiable as well.  We are interested in an Optometrist that is passionate about full care for all ages patients, able to manage diseases of the eye, injury and able to communicate and explain fully to the patient their eye conditions. Optometrist will utilize state of the art optometric equipment including Optos, Topcon KR800, Octopus, digital slit lamp and Topcon remote phoropters with digital eye charts. The EHR utilized is My Vision Express. 

Columbus Optical is a family owned establishment since 1964. The work environment is friendly and casual while maintaining a professional knowledgeable base. We strive to provide excellent customer service and in depth communication with our patients. Opportunities for growth include partnership or ownership. Optometrists are supported by seasoned staff that keep a smooth and efficient workflow. Major insurances accepted. 

Work schedule is flexible with some Saturday mornings. The office is open 8am to 6pm through the week and 8am to 1pm Saturdays. In the past doctors have offered occasional early 7:30am and late 6pm appointments that patients have enjoyed utilizing. 
Columbus is located in southcentral Indiana and is noted for its architecture, arts, parks and small town charm. Columbus is in proximity to multiple major cities.
