Occupational Therapist

Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals of all ages regain independence and improve their quality of life. You'll work collaboratively with our providers, patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement customized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities, strengths, and limitations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practices.
Provide hands-on therapy and instruction to improve activities of daily living, fine motor skills, cognitive function, and sensory processing.
Educate patients on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and home modifications to promote independence and safety.
Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with team members and referring providers.
Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Clinical experience working, preferably in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Dedication to providing patient-centered care with empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
