Diesel Technician

We are looking for an experienced diesel truck technician to join our team Diesel Repair & Performance is a family-owned business, located in the mighty metropolis of Parker, Colorado. We are the oldest light duty diesel repair shop in Douglas County. We are known for our honesty and integrity. We have been in business going on twenty years and have built a client base of over 22k customers. We believe in giving our clients old-fashioned customer service. We respect and appreciate our clients and will do what it takes to help them. 

We are looking for an experienced diesel technician with at least 4 years’ experience with ambition and drive. The pay range will be negotiated based on experience and market rate. You will work on Ford, G/M and Dodge light to medium Diesel trucks. You must have tools and a toolbox. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and service light to medium duty Diesel pickup trucks. Our shop environment is friendly and caring. We have a 2000 horsepower dyno that can support 24k pounds. We are open for business Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair light to medium Diesel trucks.
• Perform routine vehicle services and maintenance.
• Perform routine multi-point inspections on trucks.
• Provide labor and time estimates on repairs.
• Submit recommended repairs to service advisor and help with ordering parts.
• Perform daily check out.
• Keep work area clean and shop clean and organized.

 Qualifications:

• 3 - 10 years of experience as a Diesel Technician.
• Must willing to become ASE certified progressing to an ASE Master Tech.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills.
• Must have excellent electrical systems diagnostic skills.
• Must be able to perform major mechanical repairs.
• A/C testing and repairs
• Deadline and detail oriented
• Requires tools and a toolbox. 
• Must have current CO license and a clean driving record.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be neat and clean in appearance.
