Description:We aim to fill this role with a senior full-stack engineer to collaborate with our team and provide support for internal and client projects while overseeing the development of mid-level engineers.  The role involves rolling out new functionalities to staging and production environments, providing an approach, consultation on best practices, and actual implementation.

The role primarily involves spearheading the backend development of Laravel and custom PHP-based applications in harmony with the front-end developers. The candidate will be expected to deploy new features on a production level across the stack. In short, we are looking for a strong player in their field who has the potential to grow into an A-class technical leader.

Responsibilities:
  • Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development
  • Analyze project needs to determine technical requirements
  • Ownership of code throughout development, staging, testing, and production
  • Write unit tests for new and existing code.
  • Work with design, development, project management, and QA teams to develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines via Agile
  • Oversee ongoing regular maintenance updates and additions from our existing project responsibilities.
  • Determine appropriate architecture and other technical solutions and make relevant recommendations to clients

Experience:Languages and Frameworks
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP.

  • Experience with back-end frameworks like Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails, or Spring Boot.
Database Management
  • Experience designing and managing both relational databases (like PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, Cassandra).

API Design and Development
  • Proficiency in building RESTful services and understanding of GraphQL.
