CNC Machinist Level ll

CNC Machinist Level ll - 2nd Shift (M-Th 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM)

Overview:  
Capable of operating Machining center and Turning center including but not limited to loading and unloading changing setups and ensuring quality in every part safely and efficiently, the ability to program efficiently and improve programs accordingly.  
Main Responsibilities: 

• Operate CNC machines, install programs, and edit.
• Follow the Schedule.
• Perform inspection checks on processed parts.
• Operate machinery daily in an advanced safety-conscious manner.
• Perform diagnostic checks and maintenance of machinery.
• Correctly usage of job tracking software "labor-trak".
• Other duties as assigned. 

Required Skills:

• Proficient CNC operational knowledge/understanding
• Ability to efficiently program the Machining and Turning Centers
• Efficiency with reducing setup and run times
• Proficient blueprint knowledge
• Attention to Tolerances and interpretation
• Understanding of tooling/set-up requirements
• Ability to constantly improve machining knowledge
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie Stand, sit, laying, squat, bend, kneeling) for prolonged periods of time
• Manual Machine Experience 

 Required Education: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade School or Apprentice Program or a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
