Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Tutor with a flexible schedule and access to a vehicle. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching. The tutor will travel to various locations within Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Paradise Valley to conduct tutoring sessions in the student’s home, online, or in our Academic Center. This role is ideal for educators, college students, or professionals looking to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized instruction in specific subjects (math, science, English, etc.) to students in grades [range, e.g., K-12].
- Collaborate with Parents and Teachers to create personalized plans.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique learning styles and needs of each student.
- Assist students with homework, test preparation, and skill-building activities.
- Track and report student progress to parents/guardians and suggest strategies for improvement.
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide feedback and set future goals.
- Self Starter
- Proficiency in the subject(s) being tutored.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience (preferred).
- Access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley.
- Flexible availability, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward learning.
- Competitive hourly pay. $25-$40/ hr.
