Christie, RD is a private practice of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists specializing in 1-on-1 nutrition counseling and workplace wellness. We are a small, rapidly growing company of nutrition professionals working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that also offers the opportunity to engage meaningfully with our clients and guide them throughout their journey to better health and wellness. We are looking for someone that is licensed in NC with previous 1-on-1 counseling experience. This is an independent contractor role with no guarantee of hours but has the potential to be a full-time independent contractor.   

The ideal candidate is someone who:  
  • Is a motivated RDN seeking a part-time, with potential to grow to full time contractor, nutrition counseling contractor position in a private practice setting.
  • Is someone who works well both independently and as part of a small team. 
  • Is someone that is creative, tech-savvy, and passionate about your chosen profession. 
  • Is driven to help define and expand your role and responsibilities within the scope of our mission of providing personalized, specialized nutrition programs for focused results. 
  • Is a self-starter and eager to pursue business opportunities, insightfully plans ahead for schedule fluctuations, and manages corporate relationships. 
  • Is able to complete documentation activities (charting, billing, etc) in defined timeline. 
  • Is comfortable speaking in front of large groups and doing nutrition presentations. 
  • Is competent in counseling on general nutrition, diabetes, weight loss/weight management, and meal planning. Experience in food allergies, auto-immune disorders, gut health, and/or chronic diseases is preferred. 
  • Is flexible, responsible and organized, and possess outstanding interpersonal skills that will enable you to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.  
  • Possesses a solid knowledge of current nutrition research and topics. 
  • Lives in the Winston-Salem/Greensboro area and able to travel to workplaces in Piedmont Triad area to offer in-person presentations. 
  • Previous experience in outpatient or private practice is preferred but not necessary.
