Position: Landscape Technician with Irrigation and Truck/Trailer Experience
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping, with a focus on irrigation systems and possess proficiency in operating trucks and trailers. The role involves working outdoors to enhance and maintain various landscapes, ensuring the proper functioning of irrigation systems, and transporting equipment and materials as needed.
Responsibilities:Irrigation System Maintenance:
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adjust watering schedules and system components to meet landscape needs and conserve water.

Landscaping:
  • Execute landscape plans, including planting, pruning, and maintaining various plants and trees.
  • Implement hardscape elements such as pathways, patios, and retaining walls.
  • Monitor and control weed growth and pests.

Truck and Trailer Operation:
  • Safely operate trucks and trailers to transport equipment, tools, and materials to job sites.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles and trailers to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while driving and operating equipment.

Equipment Operation:
  • Operate heavy machinery, as needed, for larger landscaping projects. Skids, dingo, trenchers, etc

Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.

Customer Interaction:
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs.
  • Address client questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
