AM Dispatch Writer

Henner Tank Lines, Inc. - a premier contract carrier is looking for a motivated and professional Dispatch writer who works with the Dispatcher to assist the day-to-day route operations. His/her duties involve daily communication and interaction with drivers and clients. He/she must also organize and conduct activities to assure the safe, cost-effective, on-time operating performance of the drivers. We are family-owned and LOCAL. We are not an out-of-state operation where you’re only a number - you are part of our family.

Schedule: Shift  AM  (6:30 Am to 4:30 Pm)  Wed to Sat 

Compensation:

•  $20-$23 (DOE).
•  Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K.

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Ability to Handle a High volume of Phone calls.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a team environment in high-pressure situations.
• Entering  Load Information / Create loads in the dispatch system.
• Check the customer emails and respond accordingly.
• Check the dispatch board and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day.

Talent Requirements:

• Two (2) years of Customer Service experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective oral, written, and Communication Skills.
• Demonstrate a high customer service commitment professionally.
• Knowledge of the California Bay Area is a plus.
• Positive, patient, and helpful attitude.

Education: High school or equivalent.
