Laborer/CDL Driver

ApplyAbout the Job:Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklifts.
  • Load and unload materials or equipment onto trucks.
  • Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

Qualifications:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
  • Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role (Manual Experience a plus).
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for truck driving.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: From $22.75 - $24.25 per hour.Since 1962, MICA has been a specialty highway contractor that provides and installs Lighting, Signing, and Intelligent Transportation System through the state of Texas.
