IT Support Engineers possess strong skills in all the most common and popular IT technologies. This person should be skillful at daily I.T.-related tasks and troubleshooting as well as I.T. project work. This person should be able to execute with a high degree of success in solving problems with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, virtual machines, and backup systems.  

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st tier level 1-2 technical support onsite.
  • Software and hardware support.
  • Ticket System Management.
  • Contacting technical vendors to resolve issues.
  • Ability to provide Technical research for software, hardware, and services to fill client needs.
  • Remote and onsite work at client offices to resolve issues.
  • Regular maintenance and support for computers/servers/network equipment.
  • Understanding of and ability to install, configure, and test workstation, laptop hardware and virtual systems.
  • M365 administration.
  • Ownership of tasks and follow through to ensure complete, quality resolutions.
  • Follow company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Growing responsibilities and projects as skills and experience dictate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Windows server operating systems.
  • VMWare & Hyper-V systems.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of network technologies, designs, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of cloud-based tools and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to articulate technical information clearly and simply to non-technical people.
  • Enjoys helping people to the extent that no problem is considered mundane, no matter how simple the solution is.
  • Is self-motivated and can be self-directed.
  • Enjoys sharing information, and supporting others.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies through the use of self-study materials, training, and intuition.
  • CompTIA A+ or Google I.T. Support Professional Certification is a plus.
