We Rise Therapy and Wellness LLC is a mental health and wellness practice dedicated to providing accessible and culturally sensitive services to marginalized communities. Our practice focuses on diversity and inclusion, offering holistic approaches to mental health care. We specialize in serving minority women, immigrant families, and children of immigrants, providing intersectional services tailored to race, gender, and disability.

Position Overview:
We are seeking driven and passionate therapists to join our team. The ideal candidate will be licensed as LSW in the state of NJ. (LSW only) and have a strong interest in individual and group therapy. This position also involves hosting workshops and speaking engagements, both virtually and in the community. The primary focus will be on providing culturally sensitive and inclusive mental health services to South/East Asian and Women of Color communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Host workshops and speaking engagements.
  • Maintain a caseload of 23 clinical client hours weekly.
  • Participate in clinical supervision for provided hours (clinical supervision for hours is included) 
  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills and expertise in counseling.
  • Practice culturally sensitive and inclusive mental health services.
  • Participate in weekly clinical supervision.
  • Participate in monthly team meeting.

Requirements:
  • Mental Health License in NJ. (LSW only) 
  • Ability to work towards a minimum of 23 clinical client hours weekly.
  • Strong clinical skills and expertise in counseling.
  • Interest and ability to practice culturally sensitive and inclusive mental health services.
  • Excellent references and work history.
  • Maintain CEU requirements per state licensing board.
  • Specialty and interest in a niche preferred.
