Thermo King Chesapeake has immediate openings in our Arctic Vans production division, at our Hagerstown, MD location. We are seeking individuals who are driven with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Check us out at www.arcticvans.com.

All positions are full-time and consist of 40-hour weeks; Monday thru Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with the opportunity for overtime. Salary based on experience and abilities, with potential for advancement.

Requirements;
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools.
  • Woodworking knowledge.
  • Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Knowledge of various welding techniques that include MIG/TIG.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Measuring, cutting, and bending materials to specifications.
  • Basic math and design skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Perform all work with help from framing and cutting equipment.
  • Perform efficient welding of aluminum objects with the help of a MIG/TIG welder.
  • Perform work with various hand/power tools.
  • Proficiency with metal fabrication tools including shears and brakes.
  • Grinding and finishing completed products.
  • Fabricating and constructing aluminum products.
  • Measure and mark out cutting/bending lines.
  • Evaluate and perform quality checks on finished products.
