Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and certified Personal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field. All candidates must be a certified personal trainer from a reputable organization. At this time, we are looking for candidates who have at least 2-3 years of experience working with clients of all fitness levels. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong communication skills, be familiar with all social media platforms, and be enthusiastic about promoting our gym to attract new clients through social media, attending local events, and other marketing endeavors.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct one-on-one training sessions with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals.
  • Develop personalized exercise programs tailored to the individual needs and abilities of each client.
  • Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and nutrition principles.
  • Motivate and inspire clients to stay committed to their fitness journey.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and track performance metrics.
  • Actively promote Uplift Strength Center through social media channels and community events.
  • Assist in gym operations as needed, including cleaning equipment and maintaining a safe workout environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
  • Certified Personal Trainer accreditation from a reputable organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, or NSCA).
  • Proven 2-3 years of experience working as a personal trainer with a diverse clientele.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and willingness to utilize them for marketing purposes.
  • Enthusiasm for fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
  • Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, etc.) 
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Must be able to give clear instruction, proper exercise, modification, and challenge clients to achieve their fitness and health goals.
  • A dedication to maintaining personal integrity, client confidentiality, and professional standards for best practice.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekday and Saturday mornings.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
