Factory Computer Operator Company:Empire Blended Products has been manufacturing specialty cement products since 1946. Our state of the art, computerized manufacturing plant in Bayville, NJ produces our wide line of high quality products used throughout the industry. We also offer private labeling, toll manufacturing, custom packaging, warehousing and transportation. Empire Blended has been growing rapidly and is expanding to include new lines, customers, and territories. We are seeking a sharp, ambitious professional to support the expansion and we welcome you to explore an employment opportunity with us. Description:The Factory Computer Operator will report directly to the Plant Manager and be responsible for running a complete batching system via the PLC operating system. This is a hands-on position and will require basic factory labor ability, among other skills. Responsibilities include:
  • Operating the computer software system responsible for production and coordinating blending materials 
  • Ensuring continuity in production by adhering to production schedule
  • Correcting any unanticipated issues and increasing production efficiency 
  • Coordinating with Plant Manager, Maintenance Mechanic, and plant workers to smoothly transition the material through the production line 
  • Organize the products to be managed in the production line
  • Performing in a fast-paced environment while maintaining production quality
  • Adhering to the safety and quality control regulations established by Plant Manager
 Qualifications:
  • High school degree required
  • Responsible and professional with a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Takes pride in work and possesses attention to detail
  • Has good diagnostic abilities to troubleshoot issues
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
