As the Maintenance Tech at The Meadowglade, you'll report directly to the Facility Manager, and help ensure that both the residential house and the property are pristine and maintained to the highest standard.
We are hiring for Full-time hours Monday - Friday.
Starting pay is $23 - $26 per hour, depending on experience
In this role, you will support by maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and satisfying surrounding for the residents, employees, and visitors.
YOU WILL:
- Responsible for household repairs such as fixing a stopped toilet and hanging pictures, etc.
- Evaluate and coordinate with the Facility Manager any needed repairs.
- Safely operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, etc.
- Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, human waste, bodily fluids, and other disposable materials. Empties trash containers throughout the day.
- Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of company vehicles.
- Responsible for ensuring company vehicle is taken for regular maintenance.
- Completes monthly inventory of supplies and communicates additional needs to the Facility Manager.
- Assist in daily operations and other operational and administrative duties as assigned.
To be a good fit for this role, you will have to:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, REQUIRED.
- 3+ years of experience with handyman work and/or basic household repairs, REQUIRED.
- Some janitorial and/or custodial experience.
- The ability to pass a Live Scan Background Check, REQUIRED.
- California driver's license AND the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record(MVR), REQUIRED.
- Ability to drive an 11-passenger van.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Team orientation and ability to work well with teammates.
- Dependability and reliability.
- The ability to interact with clients professionally.
