If you're looking for a role that values your skills and dedication, IPS is where you’ll thrive. Responsibilities & Expectations: The 3-Phase Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing 3-phase transformers. This includes the installation of components, performing electrical tests, and ensuring all work meets high-quality standards before the units are moved to the final testing area. The technician will work closely with the production team to maintain safety and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
  • Install transformer components.
  • Prepare transformer tank.
  • Lower the stacked coils into the tank.
  • Fill tank with oil.
  • Install switches and fuses and connect the leads.
  • Perform tests to ensure correct ratios.
  • Move equipment to final testing area.
 Qualifications and Competencies: 
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in manufacturing or assembly of equipment preferred.
  • Technical certifications in electrical or mechanical fields a plus.
  • Experience with transformers and electrical testing equipment a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working with machinery, hand tools, and in varying temperatures.
