Salon Manager/Hair Stylist

We are looking for a Salon Manager/Hair Stylist to be responsible for our salon’s day-to-day operations in our Epping area salon

*NH Cosmetology or Master Barber's License is required*

Salon Manager responsibilities include supervising staff, scheduling shifts, promoting our services and keeping updated records of expenses and revenues. If you are familiar with our fast paced salons, culture of teamwork and have excellent organizational abilities, we’d like to meet you.

We are locally owned with several successful Salons in NH-plus we are still growing

O’Rourke Clips LLC is a locally-family-owned organization of 7 salons in New Hampshire and has been in business since 2011. We are growing into one of the largest, most established salon organizations in the area operating as Great Clips-the national trusted name in family hair care.

NH Cosmetology License is required-Manager is a working (behind the chair) hair stylist as well

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily salon operations.
• Hire and train hair stylists as needed.
• Organize employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality.
• Order and maintain inventory of products for resale.
• Apply sanitation practices applicable with state laws.
• Ensure all services meet high quality standards.
• Maintain staff records, including salaries and working schedules.
• Promote services, products and discounts on social media.
• Receive payments from clients and track all transactions.
• Help staff maximize their earning potential.

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Salon Manager, Assistant Manager or Leader.
• Good knowledge of precision hair cutting & top notch technical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle customers’ requests and complaints with grace.
• Licensed Cosmetologist as our manager's are working stylists as well.
• Great Communication Skills.
