Much of our success is a product of the great staff we employ. We are presently looking to add another hard-working team player to our training staff.

Description:The Training Instructor will have the primary responsibility of teaching the approved training curriculum (Home Health Aide and/or Personal Care Aide) at our training school on Staten Island. When class is not in session this individual will conduct educational in-services for our certified caregivers as well as administer HHA/PCA competency evaluations.

Training will be done in accordance with all regulations and company policies.

Job Duties:
  • Provide related instruction and supervise students.
  • Proctor and grade tests.
  • Document students progress and complete required forms/reports in their entirety.
  • Prepare and submit a course of study including program objectives, student performance objectives and lesson plans.
  • Perform other duties related to this position requested by the director, program coordinator, and company management.

Requirements:
  • BSN Degree in Nursing
  • NYS Licensed and Registered (in good standing) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Must have 2 years Registered Nurse (RN) experience in New York City.
  • Must have 1 year of Home Care experience as a field Nurse.
  • Must have excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (Preferred not required)

Training will be provided at our Corporate Headquarters located in Gravesend Brooklyn.  Once training is completed, permanent location for the role will be at our Staten Island training school at 36 Richmond Terrace in Staten Island.
