Landscape Construction Foreman

As a landscape construction foreman, you will get to lead a work crew for daily assignments. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, creating quality work, and meeting customer needs and expectations. You will keep efficiency and quality in mind, making sure tasks are performed within budgeted hours. This is a fulltime position reporting to the supervisor and General Manager. You will lead assigned crew members.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Oversee Crew members and all assigned work is performed in a safe and efficient manner within budgeted hours.
  • Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and accidents to your supervisor and office immediately. 
  • Train and develop crew members.
  • Assist manager in performance evaluations, discipline, or promotion of crew members.
  • Assure that work is performed to the highest quality standards in accordance with the job specifications.
  • Accurately fill out all needed paperwork. 
  • Communicate daily with supervisor for all aspects related to assigned job sites.
  • Become proficient in all Landscape Construction procedures and installation techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site, shop, nursery, locker, and truck.
  • Drive the commercial landscape truck in a safe and competent manner, following company safety policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations for the operating of such vehicles.
  • Be able to operate equipment in a safe and competent manner and in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
