We seek an experienced Welder who will read and interpret engineering blueprints, fabricate and weld metal components using various tools according to required specifications, and perform quality checks on finished products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to create equipment and products accurately.
- File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of metal objects, such as metalworking dies and machine parts, to conform to templates, other parts, layouts, or blueprint specifications.
- Perform TIG welding, brass brazing, soldering, tool/jig design, and fabrication.
- Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw gun, drill gun, and grinders.
- Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools.
- Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements.
- Perform quality work checks to identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Professional Certification (AWS Welding Cert) preferred.
- At least two years of metal fabrication and welding experience is required.
- Experience working with brass and aluminum.
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings.
- Strong mathematical and reasoning skills.
- Experience producing precision tools and products.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Diligence, attention to detail, and good eyesight.
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Excelling reading comprehension and capacity to follow written directions.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Excelling problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
