One of our clients, an ophthalmology practice, is looking for an Ophthalmic Scribe to join their team.
The position is full-time with a great compensation and benefits package.

Job Description:The Ophthalmic Scribe assists the physician with documentation of the patient's medical record.
The Ophthalmic Scribe accompanies the physician into the exam room to transcribe the history and examination as given by the patient and the physician. Additionally, under the direction of the physician, transcribes the impression and plan, results of tests, prescriptions, and orders.
The Ophthalmic Scribe also documents any procedures that may be performed by the physician or ophthalmic medical personnel and transcribe any consultations or discussions with family members.
Primary responsibilities & duties:

• Assisting the physician with documentation, transcribing
• Re-stocking rooms; daily scanning of documents into patient EyeMD; documenting no-show and canceled appointments in EyeMD and noting rescheduled if appropriate.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of MIPS

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, or equivalent 
• 2-4 years of related experience. 
• Excellent computer proficiency - Fast typer and knowing how to navigate different systems.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
