Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics

Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies within our organization. This position involves active participation in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions, develop conceptual designs, and maintain program architecture for build. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to implement manufacturing plans, resolve technical challenges, and contribute to the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Additionally, interfacing with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs, and internal customers is essential for the development of products, skills, knowledge, and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participate as a member of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs.
  • Maintain program architecture for build.
  • Implement manufacturing plans effectively.
  • Resolve technical problems and contribute to the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.
  • Assist in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
  • Interface with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs, and internal customers for product development and knowledge exchange.

Requirements:

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing and electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in Oracle, Cost Point, and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with autonomous systems from concept to space applications.
  • Experience working with high mix low rate manufacturing processes.
  • Previous involvement with defense-related systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage highly varied projects and adapt to new programs.

Education/Experience:

  • Advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor's degree).
  • Typically, 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., Master's degree).
  • ABET accreditation is preferred, though not required, especially for candidates based in the USA.

Contract Details:
  • Shift: 1st Shift / ONSITE
  • OT/Weekends: If needed basis
  • Contract Length: 9 months
  • Pay: $47.97/hr
