EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - Requires High School education or equivalent.
- Requires Industrial Electrician Certificate or equivalent education and work experience.
- Must have a minimum of four years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Must have a working knowledge of PLC ladder logic and Allen Bradley micro logic/control logic control systems. Basic welding and machining are required.
- The position will require the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, inspect and repair plant equipment and systems.
- Requires a working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Must obtain a forklift license and pass a physical.

- Perform daily job assignments as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Provide assistance to departments requiring maintenance needs or assistance.
- Also, provide assistance to Manufacturing Engineers and Quality as it relates to fixtures and gages that are used in the manufacture of assemblies or products.
- Complies with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management System requirements.
- Displays a positive attitude towards safety, works safely, follows all company policies and reports all unsafe and unhealthy conditions.
- Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Complies with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards in accordance with the Magna Employee Charter and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Maintain daily inspections and reports on relevant equipment.
- Maintain documentation for maintenance equipment and systems.
- Perform other duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
Direct accountability for the maintenance of the manufacturing plant, including machines, tools and all equipment necessary for the daily operations. COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Reading, writing and the ability to verbally communicate in person as well as on the telephone is a necessity. BEHAVIOR STANDARDS:
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management. HOURS OF WORK:
- Tuesday - Friday 6:00 pm - 4:30 am (Daily O/T possible)
- Friday & Saturday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm; Sunday & Monday 6:00 pm - 4:30 am (Daily O/T Possible)
