Truck MechanicSweitzer Waste Removal, a local waste collection company, is seeking an experienced truck mechanic to join our maintenance team in order to service our growing fleet. 

Job Details:
  • Full-time.
  • Starting pay rate $28-$42 per hour.
  • Pay rate is based on experience/job knowledge.
  • Health benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life.
  • Vacation/PTO time.
  • 401k.
Position Summary:
  • The truck mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining heavy equipment and trucks in a safe and professional manner. 
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting trucks and equipment.
  • Maintain and repair various types of equipment, diesel motors, and hydraulic systems.
  • Work all assigned shifts from scheduled start time to scheduled end time.
Requirements:
  • CDL B preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Air Brake Certification preferred, but not mandatory
  • Minimum 2 years in transportation environment.
