Top Skills & Years of Experience: 
  • Experience with and deep knowledge of Visual Studio 2012 and later,  SQL Server Integrations Services (SSIS),  SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Experience with performance profiling and optimization of SSIS, SQL Server queries stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Perform data cleansing/scrubbing and transformation of data to ensure data quality.
  • Develop SSIS packages to extract, transform and load data to enterprise-level data warehouses and data mart databases.

Interview Process: Virtual Interview (Microsoft Teams).

Duration: Long-term contract (Project is slated for an additional three years)

Remote or On-site?
A hybrid work schedule, resources will have to be onsite.

  • The Department of Corrections has been replacing critical legacy applications for the past couple of years.
  • DOC partnered with a vendor that specializes in SaaS solutions.
  • DOC is happy with the vendor and the progress, but the SOMI still has a lot of work associated with this migration.
  • The internal staff needs assistance, so the SOMI is looking to hire someone for a long-term contract.
  • This person will be looking at the data, running queries, and staging migration data in a SQL Server environment so the SaaS vendor can access the data.
  • This is a great opportunity for someone that likes cleaning up data, testing the data, has some .NET skills, and is willing to possibly make coding changes to resize images as one example.
