PDM Collision is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a leader in the automotive collision repair industry, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and quality workmanship to our customers. The Automotive Service Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring that our team meets and exceeds performance expectations while upholding our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of skilled technicians and ensuring that all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest industry standards. 

You will act as a liaison between customers and service staff, addressing any concerns and providing solutions in a timely manner. Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the service department.
  • Schedule and assign work to technicians based on expertise and availability.
  • Monitor repair work to ensure quality and accuracy of service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients about vehicle repairs and estimates.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and mentoring to staff members.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the shop.
  • Analyze service department operations and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service or repair.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, collision repair processes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling, inventory management, and customer repair tracking.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • ASE certification or equivalent in automotive service is preferred.
