Position Title: RN - Cardiac Progressive Care
Location: Seattle, Washington

Employment Type: Full Time (36 Hours/Week)
Shift Type: 12-Hour Shifts

As a dedicated caregiver, you will leverage your specialized nursing expertise to provide exceptional healthcare with a personal touch, making a meaningful impact every day through your outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nursing Practice:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate appropriate nursing diagnoses, and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients.
    • Update and coordinate patient care plans to achieve desired outcomes and facilitate smooth transitions across the care continuum.
    • Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions as required.
    • Maintain and demonstrate essential competencies pertinent to your area of specialization and the populations served.
  • Patient Advocacy:
    • Serve as an advocate for ethical and holistic care by collaborating in care planning to uphold the autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of patients.
  • Education and Learning:
    • Create a conducive learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team, including students.
    • Facilitate both formal and informal educational opportunities for patients, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
  • Safety and Quality Alignment:
    • Take responsibility for patient safety by identifying and addressing issues, integrating evidence-based practices into patient care, and using data to enhance outcomes.
    • Prioritize patient, self, and environmental safety to ensure optimal results.
  • Professional Development:
    • Engage in continuous professional growth and practice at the highest level within the legal framework of the Nurse Practice Act, the Nursing Social Policy Statement, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and specialty standards.
    • Foster a culture of inquiry that embraces, incorporates, and shares research and evidence-based practices.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead and coordinate healthcare teams, delegate tasks appropriately, and work collaboratively with other members of the inter-professional care team as equals.
    • Exhibit professional conduct as a representative of the nursing profession in the practice setting and the community.

Qualifications:Required:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Washington Registered Nurse License at the time of hire.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
