Job description:
Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (Every Other Weekend)

Job Location: Cottonwood Falls, Ks

Mission Health - Chase County Care & Rehab

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our long-term care facility on a part-time basis, working every other weekend. As a vital member of our team, you will provide quality nursing care to our residents and ensure their well-being in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents according to their individual care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and condition, and report any changes to the appropriate medical personnel
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement resident care plans
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed
  • Document resident care accurately and timely in electronic health records
  • Educate residents and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff
Qualifications:
  • Valid Kansas Registered Nurse License
  • Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in long-term care or a related setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • CPR certification (In person only)
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities
Schedule:
  • Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Shift: Day Shift -6a-6p
