2-Way Radio Electronic Technician Started in 1966, Teton Communications Inc is an Industry leading 2-Way Radios, Sales and Service Organization specializing in system design, product selection, installation, and support after the sale. We have a full-time position available for a 2-way radio electronics technician.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: 
  • Knowledge of 2-way radios and systems including familiarity with programming, tune, and testing. 
  • Have knowledge of AC/DC theory and the ability to read schematics.
  • Ability to use hand tools, AC/DC multi meters.
  • Knowledge of 2-way radio P25 Digital operation, NexEdge Digital operation, and conventional operation in VHF, UHF, 700 and 800 bands. 
  • Knowledge of 2-way radio console systems. 
  • Knowledge of Microwave radio systems and the ability to tune, test and troubleshoot.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to pass a security clearance (must be able to pass a drug test) 
  • Ability to drive a 4-wheel drive pickup truck to remote locations.
  • Ability to document and keep records of the work performed.
  • Ability to work independently and be comfortable working at remote locations. 
  • Ability to perform board level repairs using soldering techniques including vapor flow machines.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and fellow employees.
  • Knowledge of Computers and Networking
  • Availability to take trouble calls on a rotating 24 hr. basis.
  • Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs.
  • Most of all, the willingness to work and learn.
